1What forms of payment do you except?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Zelle. We do not take personal checks. Pay the remaining balance on the day of in cash and receive two complementary retouched image of your choice . (A $90 Value)
2Where should I park?
Where to Park (there are several parking options near the studio): • The lot on Harrison Ave is $10 for the first hour, $30 per day. • Directly across the street on Albany street (365 Albany Street), under I-93 there is a parking lot that is credit card only. Rate is $2.50 per half hour, $20 max per 24 hours. *this is where I would suggest parking* • There is visitor parking for two hours on Randolph Street - please note that there is street cleaning on this street every Thursday from 12-4pm. • Meter parking on Albany Street.
3How do I find you once I am here?
If you are walking from Harrison Avenue the studio is located at the midpoint of the large brick 460 Harrison Ave building. The closest entrance to the studio space is 460B, which is halfway down the right side of the building. You will see a sign reading 460B in large metal letters protruding from the side of the building. Enter the building underneath this sign and go up the set of stairs directly in front of you and take a left. Walk down the hall and you’ll see us on your right.
4What’s the booking and cancellation policy?
A deposit of $150 is required to hold all bookings except corporate and commercial full and half day sessions. Once you book your appointment you will be emailed a deposit form which you can pay by credit/debit card online. Appointments are held for 48 hours to allow you to complete this form. Appointment released after 48 hours if deposit is not paid resulting in a canceled appointment. All cancellations 7 days or less the deposit is non-refundable and not applicable for a future booking. All Cancellations 8 days or more are 100% refundable on the card used to make the appointment.
5Is a deposit required on a session booked for less than 48 hours?
No it is not required. We will ask you to confirm the booking though through email.
6Are appointments required?
Yes, we are an appointment only business. Sometimes we do have last minute availability that might not be listed on the online booking system. Give us a call for anything under 48 hours.
7How long does it take to get my images back?
Within 7-10 days. We spend about 3-4 hours on every clients images before sending them to you. If you need them sooner, you can add a rush fee to your session.
8How many photos will I receive from my session?
Every session is different and there is no exact amount of final images per person. That being said, the average person receives roughly 40 images" per look." So the model portfolio package 2 for example which is a three look session would have roughly 120 final images to choose from. There is one exception however on the headshot basic package which is a limited package and comes with two final images of your choice but you will have roughly 40 to choose from.
9Is Retouching Included in my Package?
Some of our packages include retouching. While other packages have al a carte method to give the clients more options. We also do our retouching in house instead of sending it to a third party merchant. Pay for your session in cash instead of a credit card and receive 2 retouched images on the house. in addition to any already included in your package. A $90 Value.
10How long does Retouching take once I place an order?
3-5 Business Days. Depending on timing when you order and the amount you order. Orders over 10 images can take up to 10 days.
11What if the weather is bad on the day of my shoot?
This is New England after all, so if the weather is bad we are happy to move you to another date and time.
12Do I own the rights to my images?
All packages come with usage rights for self promotion and personal use. However you cant resell them for a profit, or sell them as stock photography.
13What should I wear for my headshot session?
Everyone always asks what should I wear for my headshot? A general rule is, solid colors works best. You want to stand out in your headshot so colors that enhance. The clothing should not distract. Try and avoids overly loud prints, patterns, logos and text. Solid jewel tones work the best. Also avoid florescent and pastel colors. White works inside but is distracting outside. If in doubt what to bring for your headshot session feel free to bring a few options and we will be happy to help.
